The Power Drives business unit develops and sells electric motor solutions. The range comprises a wide choice of electric motors, combined with products and solutions in the fields of mechanical transmissions, electronic speed control and components. Through its subsidiaries, Power Drives does business in all the Nordic and Baltic countries. Power Drives also operates in China, where it offers its European customers quality and pre-delivery inspections of products purchased and manufactured on the Chinese market.
Power Drives represents carefully chosen manufacturers all over the world. Together with a number of leading universities and companies, the unit conducts a unique form of collaboration involving the development of prototype runs of new technology for electric motors. Power Drives has two service units in Sweden which service and maintain large electrical machines. For hydro power customers, Power Drives offers generators and control systems, as well as inspection and servicing throughout the Nordic countries.
Power Drives was formed in July 2010 through Addtech’s acquisition of the BEVI group.
The target group of the business unit is the OEM market, resellers and end customers.
