Addtech supports global initiatives

Addtech supports the UN's Agenda 2030 and the global goals are part of our evaluation of the positive as well as negative impact on sustainable development. Our companies contribute positively to the development of the global goals by delivering technical solutions and products that are important for the transition towards more sustainable societies and industry.

The global goals where we have the greatest positive impact are:

Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.

Our companies are important players in the expansion and upgrade of national electricity grids, and in the optimisation of, and solutions for, the efficient generation of renewable energy.

Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialisation and foster innovation.

Our companies are active in many different segments in industry and infrastructure – for example, we deliver efficient solutions to the process industry, as well as equipment for the railway.

Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.

Our companies are active in several areas that support this goal. For example, we supply equipment to hospitals and other medical facilities, as well as offering efficient exhaust gas purification solutions for industry and ships.

The global goals where we have the greatest negative impact are:

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.

Our negative impact derives primarily from our greenhouse gas emissions. The clear majority of greenhouse gas emissions derive from freight transport (Scope 3).

Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.

Our negative impact comes mainly from risks in global value chains. We work for good working conditions and responsible production in our supply chain.

We have also committed to Science Based Targets for our Group and we have set a target to be climate neutral for our own operation (scope 1 & 2) by 2030 and to set a roadmap for being climate neutral according scope 1,2 and 3, no later than 2050.
